Inverted Castle at Dubai Miracle Garden

An upside-down version of an Inverted Castle offers a real degree of magical charm at the Dubai Miracle Garden. This inverted castle looks even more wonderful when viewed within the context of colorful flowers and their fragrance. It gives you an impression, as if; you have entered in some kind of a surrealistic fairyland. Underneath; this inverted castle is a pathway for the visitors and four swans on each side. These swans give the impression, as if; they are guarding the Inverted Castle. Basically; the inverted castle is supported by these four swans. The swans and the Inverted Castle are so much subtly merged together that in the first impression it looks like that the whole castle is hanging upside-down without any support.

The Inverted Castle is decorated with two types of flowers i.e., Petunia flowers and the Verbena flowers. Almost all the floral sculptures of the Dubai Miracle Garden are adorned and decorated with Petunia flowers. Verbena flowers are used at the minaret pillars of the Inverted Castle, whereas; Petunia flowers are used at the main entrance of the Inverted Castle. This section (gate) of the Inverted Castle has red colored Petunia flowers, whereas; the pillars have white Verbena flowers. The pointed ends of the minarets do not have any flowers. These pointed ends of the minarets are painted with sea blue color. The Castle’s gate color is white with black circular designs over it.

It is high enough to provide an easy passage for the walking visitors and also high enough to give provide a beautiful view to its visitors. The total height of this Inverted Castle from the ground level to the top is almost 30 feet high in length. The height of the pedestrian passage is almost 10 to 12 feet high from the ground level. The width of the passage is almost around 10 to 12 feet wide. Each Swan provides support to the Inverted Castle. These swans are about 5 feet high.

Apparently; the overall structure of the Inverted Castle looks magical at the Dubai Miracle Garden. The entire structure of the Inverted Castle is standing on its four steel bars. These steel bars are located inside the minarets of the Inverted Castle and they are subtly merged with the heads of the swans. Onwards all these steel bars get engraved into the base level to provide the solid support to the overall structure. The architects of this Inverted Castle have designed it in such a way that the whole structure provides full grip and support to the flowering plants. Almost 80% of the Castle is showered with flowers while about 20% of the Inverted Castle has solid visible steel. The gate doesn’t have any flowers instead it is painted white along with black dots and linings over it. Apparently; only one end has a gate on it while the other end has flowers instead of gate.
