At the first instance, they really give an impression as if you are in some kind of a fairyland. Together with colorful designs and amazing fragrances, these Floral Houses and Bungalows truly give the message of the green future in housing. Each and every Floral House and Bungalow is unique and has its own color, look, and theme. Some of these Floral Houses and Bungalows are spread in a row while others are standalone houses, located along the pathways. However; the only pity is that you can’t enter or watch them from inside. Dubai is a global benchmark in terms of displaying awesome housing architectures and these colorful floral displays of houses and bungalows might well prove out to be the prototypes of future housing.

There were no Floral Houses or Bungalows at the Dubai Miracle Garden when it started in 2013. Floral Houses and Bungalows were first introduced in the second edition of the Dubai Miracle Garden. Second edition was introduced in year 2014. Each year the Dubai Miracle Garden comes up with creative themes of floral arts to make things more impressive for its visitors. Floral Houses and Bungalows have got such a great feedback from the visitors that the organizers have gradually increased their numbers over the years at the Miracle Garden. Currently; as of 2017, there are dozens of Floral Houses and Bungalows at the Dubai Miracle Garden. In its latest edition; almost all the floral houses are shifted to a certain area of the Dubai Miracle Garden and they look like small colony of floral houses and bungalows.

All the Floral Houses and Bungalows of the Dubai Miracle Garden are decorated with colorful flowers. Among all these houses and bungalows, mostly Petunia flowers have been used. However; some other flowers have also been used to decorate these Floral Houses and Bungalows of the Dubai Miracle Garden. These other flowers include Verbenas, Geraniums, Marigolds, Daisies and Coleuses etc. Moreover; different coloring variety is also used from all of these flowers to make these Floral Houses and Bungalows look more lovely and wonderful. All the houses are almost fully covered with a coating of real flowers from top to bottom except for their windows and the main entrance.

All of these Floral Houses and Bungalows of the Dubai Miracle Garden are equivalent in size to a standard sized house or a bungalow. Giving them a standard size has certainly given them a big boost in terms of their Look & Feel and their overall impact. These Floral Houses and Bungalows also have variation within their sizes i.e., ranging from a mini-house to the large one but majority of them are large houses. The height of these houses range from minimum eight feet to maximum 30 feet high. The average size of a door of each house is around 6 feet high and it is almost 3 feet wide. Even some of these Floral Houses and Bungalows have ground and upper portions as well.

The Floral Houses and Bungalows of the Dubai Miracle Garden are built through a network of grilled steel. Therefore; their base and overall structure is very solid and they can withstand extremities of the weather i.e., storm and strong wind etc. The structure is built in such a way that flowers can be cultivated and integrated easily within all of these houses. The overall architecture and shape of all of these Floral Houses and Bungalows are integrated with western housing designs. For example, almost 90% of the Floral Houses of the Dubai Miracle Garden have roof pitch (the two slopes on the top) and a mini cone-shaped tower etc. which is typically a hallmark of western housing architecture.
